More than 120 lawmakers have appended their signatures for the impeachment of President Goodluck Jonathan, immediately House reconvenes in December, Vanguard reports. Mohammed Zakari, chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, while reacting on it said “the notice of impeachment was not on the order paper today but I’m not foreclosing that some other things took place.” On his part, Leo Ogor, deputy House Leader who urged members to jettison such plans, argued that the notice ofimpeachment is inconsequential, as the President had no hand in what transpired at the National Assembly. “The President is unaware so bringing it (impeachment) up is going to be defeated. The entire community of Alade at Owode Ijako of Ogun state woke up this morning to a disturbing news of an armed robbery attack involving three young men of under 24. They started disturbing the community at 2am during which they raided four houses. They carted away over N100,000 in one of the houses and many phones. The vigilante rose to the occasion of safeguarding the community to forestall further attack when one of the thieves was shot dead while the remaining two escaped. A 27-year-old armed robber, Bala Yayah, has revealed that he usually have sex with his dogs for spiritual powers before going for robbery operation in Lagos State. A Los Angeles restaurant has been granted permission to consume and sell dog meat. A Filipino group successfully argued that the banning of the consumption of dog meat violated their religious rights. Puchow de Manila Eatery and Fine Dining has been granted provisional permission to sell and consume dog meat, while the Supreme Court decides if their case has merit. The restaurant is allowed to slaughter up to 3 dogs per day, with the stipulation that they must be put down humanely. The World Animal Protection agency called the decision “shocking,” and vowed to fight tooth and nail to ensure this act is not allowed to continue. In the Philippines today, there is an abundance of dog meat sold in restaurants and markets. The meat is as sold for as little as $1.30/kg. Jos-based comedian and musician Longji Joseph popularly known as MC Longs has died, 8 days after he was involved in ghastly car accident. The married father of two was driving around 8pm with a friend on November 6th from Barkin Ladi Local Govt Area of Plateau state when he was involved in a road traffic collision. He was rushed to the hospital where doctors detected he'd fractured a few limbs. He eventually fell into a coma and was put on life support. He died last night November 14th. His friend survived the accident. The comedian said to be in his early 30s is survived by a young wife and two children. May his soul rest in peace...amen.

The Herdsmen attacked the community in the early hours of today with guns and machetes as they slept. According to people talking about it on Twitter, the Herdsmen are still ravaging the town...and many residents have f led their homes for safety.
