Fast-rising Jeremiah Uzeh Blandmosh aka Moniker JC, has disclosed the reason why he remixed Victor Uwaifo’s Joromi. Talented
JC, who hails from Edo State, said that his undying love for the song
and his desire to make it appeal more to the youths necessitated what he
described as the long and overdue remix.
JC also disclosed that he got the approval, blessing and endorsement of the revered musician before embarking on the mission.
“Sir Victor Uwaifor gladly endorsed and gave me the approval to release the remix of his evergreen song, Joromi, because he was thrilled by the artistic creativity I added to his chart busting song as a young artiste.
“He also prayed for me and predicted I would go far with my talent. That for me was a huge endorsement from a man I have always looked up to as a role model in the industry. As an Afro hip pop act, I decided to remix the song to make it appeal more to the youths and the response so far has been overwhelming.”
The new kid on the block is currently signed and managed by Dvast Entertainment, a Las Vegas, US-based label. He started his music career in the church as a member of the choir at a very tender age.
“He blew the mind of the audience with his strong sensual and vibrant voice and caught the attention of Mr. Usigbe, the CEO of his label, Dvast Entertainment, who requested for his master cut to take back to US to introduce to the rest of the team,” said Chi Chikelu, a senior member of Dvast Entertainment, commenting on how the label singed up the young singer.
Meanwhile, the video of JC’s new single, Joromi, is set to hit the air waves soon and Dvast Entertainment has concluded plans to release the album globally.
